Wagering
A wagering requirement is the number of times a bonus must be staked before anything can be withdrawn. A 100% match of £100 at 35x means £3,500 through the games, not £100. Check whether the multiple applies to the bonus alone or to the deposit as well - the second is twice the work for the same headline figure.
Game weighting
Not every game clears a bonus at the same rate. Slots usually count 100%, table games often 10% or 5%, and live dealer and jackpot titles frequently count nothing. A bonus cleared on roulette at 5% weighting takes twenty times longer than the headline suggests.
Maximum bet while clearing
Most terms cap the stake allowed while a bonus is active, commonly around £5. Going over that cap, even once, is the most common reason a withdrawal is refused.
